Job Description
**Job Title** Business Development Representative – German Speaking **Role Summary** Drive the early stages of the sales cycle for a cybersecurity SaaS product by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads across German‑speaking markets. Serve as the first touchpoint, building relationships and handing off qualified prospects to the sales team. **Expectations** - Achieve quarterly outbound pipeline targets and quota as defined by the sales leadership. - Manage a high volume of leads, consistently updating the CRM with accurate interaction data. - Demonstrate resilience in a quota‑driven environment and continuously improve outreach tactics. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct proactive lead generation via cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and events. - Research prospects to understand industry pain points, identify decision‑makers, and qualify leads. - Build and maintain relationships with potential customers through effective communication and listening. - Collaborate with the global sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads and provide actionable insights. - Execute inbound/outbound sales activities, scheduling demos or meetings for the sales team. - Maintain up‑to‑date records of lead interactions, progress, and status in the CRM; HubSpot experience is a plus. - Perform market research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities. - Travel up to 20% for client meetings, conferences, or internal team events. **Required Skills** - Native or fluent German; professional proficiency in English. - Proven experience in sales, business development, or lead generation. - Strong cold‑calling record and ability to generate pipeline via outbound calls. - Familiarity with automation tools for multi‑step outreach campaigns (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate product benefits clearly. - Resilience, self‑motivation, and organizational skills to manage a high‑volume prospect list. - Basic understanding of the enterprise SaaS sales cycle (consultative selling) is a plus. - Experience addressing developers or cybersecurity buyers is advantageous. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. - No mandatory certifications required; relevant sales or SaaS certifications (e.g., HubSpot CRM, Salesforce) are valued.
