Job Description
Job Title: ServiceNow Analyst Role Summary: Design, implement, and optimize ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM, ITAM, and Service Mapping to deliver accurate configuration data, integrated asset lifecycle, and comprehensive service dependency maps, enhancing operational resilience and service visibility. Expectations: - Own CMDB health, completeness, correctness, and compliance. - Ensure data certification, identification & reconciliation (IRE), and data governance. - Align CMDB with CSDM v3/v4 and support change control for CIs. - Drive discovery, mapping, and integration across on‑prem and cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Model CMDB, create CI classes, define relationships, and align with CSDM. - Manage CMDB health metrics, data certification, and data governance policies. - Conduct Discovery (patterns, probes, MID Server), Service Mapping (top‑down/traffic‑based), and event correlation. - Administer ITAM: HAM (normalization, models, stockrooms, reclamation) and SAM (normalization, publisher packs, entitlements, compliance, reclaim). - Integrate with SCCM/MECM, Intune/Jamf/Tanium, vCenter, AWS, Azure, GCP, Service Graph Connectors, Import Sets, Transform Maps, REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub. - Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and governance standards. - Facilitate stakeholder workshops and collaborate cross‑functionally. Required Skills: - ServiceNow CMDB & Configuration Management. - CMDB modeling, CI classes, relationships, CSDM v3/v4. - CMDB health management, data certification, IRE, data governance. - ServiceNow ITOM: Discovery patterns, MID Server, Service Mapping. - Event correlation (knowledge a plus). - ServiceNow ITAM: HAM Pro, SAM Pro, asset-CI alignment, compliance, reclamation. - Integration expertise: SCCM, Intune, Jamf, Tanium, vCenter, AWS/Azure/GCP discovery, Service Graph Connectors, Import Sets, Transform Maps, REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub. - Documentation, runbook creation, stakeholder facilitation, collaborative teamwork.
