Job Description
**Job Title:** Product Owner **Role Summary:** Owns and advances the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, translating business needs into actionable user stories. Works collaboratively with cross‑functional, remote teams to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of digital solutions. **Expectations:** - Demonstrate at least 3 years of Product Owner or equivalent experience in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Proactively drive product strategy, stakeholder alignment, and backlog prioritization to maximize business value. - Communicate insights, product demos, and progress to both internal and external stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and key objectives. - Act as primary liaison between business teams and development squads. - Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items. - Own, groom, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring items are ready for sprint execution. - Collaborate with Scrum Masters, developers, QA, and UX to participate in sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. - Gather and incorporate stakeholder and customer feedback, using analytics and market trends to guide decisions. **Required Skills:** - Strong Agile/Scrum knowledge and practical application. - Proficiency with backlog and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalents). - Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities. - Ability to work independently within a distributed, remote team. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Product Owner or Agile certifications (CSPO, PSPO, SAFe PO/PM) preferred. **Preferred Domain Knowledge:** - Experience in FinTech, Healthcare, E‑commerce, SaaS, or data‑driven product environments.
