**Job Title:** Business Analyst – Risk (Commodities)
**Role Summary:**
Provide business analysis support to the risk team across oil, gas, and LNG portfolios, focusing on credit risk, market exposure, and process optimisation. Serve as the liaison between risk, IT, and operations to ensure accurate reporting and system functionality.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver clear, documented requirements for risk metrics and reporting.
- Maintain market data curves and support system configuration.
- Communicate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders without direct front‑office responsibilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyse and document functional requirements for VaR, mark‑to‑market, and exposure reporting.
- Support the build, maintenance, and validation of market curves in Endur.
- Partner with risk managers on credit exposure, pricing processes, and risk mitigation.
- Act as primary point of contact between risk, IT, and operations teams.
- (Optional) Assist with Cube Logic configuration and related data models.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven business analysis experience in energy trading or risk environments.
- Strong understanding of risk concepts (VaR, credit exposure, pricing).
- Hands‑on knowledge of Endur (or similar energy trading system).
- Familiarity with oil, gas, and LNG products.
- Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, or energy‑specific qualifications) are a plus.

Provide business analysis expertise to an active LNG trading and operations team, capturing requirements, supporting system enhancements, and optimising end‑to‑end LNG processes from trade capture through physical delivery.
**Expectations:**
- Accurately capture and document functional requirements for the LNG trade lifecycle.
- Ensure data integrity across trading, scheduling, and operational systems.
- Drive process mapping and optimisation for physical logistics and delivery.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Gather and document requirements for LNG trade lifecycle, including boil‑off, transit, and physical flows.
- Support system enhancements and maintenance in C‑motion and Endur.
- Map, analyse, and optimise LNG processes from deal capture to delivery.
- Collaborate with traders, schedulers, and operations to maintain data quality and workflow efficiency.
- Identify and recommend improvements to reduce operational risk and increase efficiency.
**Required Skills:**
- In‑depth knowledge of LNG markets, shipping, and physical logistics.
- Business analysis experience within LNG or gas trading environments.
- Proficiency with C‑motion and Endur trading systems.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on process improvement.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
