Technology Specialist – Private Equity
**Role Summary:**
Senior technology professional providing high‑touch, on‑site support to investment professionals and senior executives in a fast‑paced private‑equity environment. Acts as the primary technology partner in the London office, delivering hands‑on assistance across cloud, Microsoft 365, and emerging AI tools while contributing to platform improvements and project initiatives.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver prompt, reliable technical support with minimal business disruption.
- Maintain high standards of service for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global tech teams and external vendors.
- Stay current on AI, cloud, and productivity technology trends.
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge bases, and continuous improvement efforts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Manage endpoint devices (laptops, mobiles, conference‑room tech).
- Administer Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Intune).
- Support cloud infrastructure and SaaS platforms; handle provisioning, IAM, and security policies.
- Monitor system health, patching, compliance, and endpoint management.
- Enable adoption of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and guide user onboarding.
- Partner with IT Manager on technology upgrades, evaluations, and implementation projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge‑base resources.
- Coordinate with external service providers as needed.
**Required Skills:**
- 7+ years in technology support, systems administration, or engineering.
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration expertise.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar) and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in modern endpoint management (e.g., Intune).
- Demonstrated ability to provide executive‑level, white‑glove support.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM tools and a proactive interest in emerging technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation).
