ServiceNow ITOM Architect - Contract (Inside IR35)

Role Summary

A leading global healthcare payer is looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Architect to assess and uplift their ITOM capability across Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, and AIOps. This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on evaluating the current landscape, identifying gaps, and shaping a clear roadmap for future-state ITOM maturity.

Responsibilities

Lead assessments of ITOM architecture, integrations, data quality, and workflows.
Identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Recommend and define future-state ITOM strategy and roadmap.
Review and optimize Discovery patterns, MID Servers, credentials, and coverage.
Evaluate CMDB health, reconciliation, normalization, and CI relationships.
Assess Event Management integrations, alert correlation, and dashboards.
Analyse AIOps configurations including anomaly detection and automation.

Required Experience

5+ years hands-on with ServiceNow ITOM.
Strong background delivering ITOM assessments and strategic recommendations.
Deep knowledge of Discovery, CMDB, and Event Management.
CIS–Discovery or CIS–Service Mapping certification is mandatory.

Preferred

ITIL v3/v4
ServiceNow CIS-ITOM + CSA
Experience with UK enterprise clients
Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and hybrid environments
CMDB modelling/data governance experience
