Job Description
Job Title Director of Sales: SaaS Role Summary Lead a high‑velocity Sales Development team for multiple SaaS product lines, driving pipeline generation, inbound qualification, and outbound prospecting to meet SQL and revenue targets. Focus on process discipline, coaching, and scalable performance in a remote, growing organization. Expectations - Deliver <1‑day MQL‑to‑SQL response times and maintain disciplined inbound qualification standards. - Achieve consistent SQL and meeting targets aligned with ARR objectives. - Scale outbound prospecting workflows and improve pipeline coverage ratios. - Provide coaching, performance reviews, and onboarding for new SDRs. - Ensure accurate forecasting, CRM hygiene, and reporting for Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Ops. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the Sales Development team across multiple SaaS product lines. - Establish clear SAL criteria, follow‑up cadences, and conversion benchmarks. - Build and scale targeted outbound prospecting workflows aligned to ICPs and campaign initiatives. - Monitor and optimize pipeline metrics (activity levels, meetings set, SQL conversion, pipeline coverage). - Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM data hygiene across sales engagement platforms. - Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, call reviews, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations. - Develop structured onboarding and ramp plans for new SDRs. - Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Ops to align pipeline generation with ARR targets. - Drive continuous improvement in process, reporting, and outbound strategy execution. Required Skills - 3–5+ years SaaS SDR leadership experience in high‑velocity environments. - Proven ability to manage inbound teams with sub‑1‑day SLA response expectations. - Experience building and implementing structured outbound prospecting playbooks. - Strong understanding of pipeline math, conversion metrics, forecasting, and funnel optimization. - Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM), sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft), and conversational intelligence tools (e.g., Gong). - Ability to scale SDR teams in growing GTM organizations. - Experience supporting multiple product lines or multi‑brand SaaS environments. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (no specific certification required).
