Job Description
Job Title: Strategic Account Manager Role Summary: Own and expand relationships across a portfolio of existing customers, driving benefit adoption, revenue retention, and growth. Partner with HR leaders and benefits teams to ensure successful delivery of the Zest platform, while serving as the commercial liaison and customer advocate. Expectations: - Manage the end‑to‑end commercial partnership, including complex renewal and expansion sales processes. - Meet or exceed annual revenue targets and sustain high levels of client satisfaction. - Ensure compliance with all legal and data‑protection requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular account reviews, including QBRs and annual meetings, to identify opportunities and address client concerns. - Promote new product features and campaigns, leveraging customer feedback to shape future road‑map developments. - Own account retention, upsell and cross‑sell activities, driving revenue growth in line with set targets. - Act as the internal voice for customers, translating user experience insights into product enhancements. - Collaborate with delivery, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless service and address any service‑quality issues. - Maintain knowledge of industry trends, legal and security regulations, and ensure all practices align with corporate policies. Required Skills: - Client‑first mentality with proven ability to develop and implement retention and growth strategies. - Strong negotiation and closing skills; experienced in complex renewals, upsells, and cross‑sell opportunities. - Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of persuasive public speaking and stakeholder management. - Influencing and relationship‑building skills across multiple levels of the organization. - Resilience, attention to detail, and creativity in problem‑solving. - Knowledge of data protection and information security best practices. - Self‑starter with high drive, energy, and a proven track record of meeting deadlines and performance metrics. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (preferred). - Relevant sales or account‑management certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Person, Salesforce Certified) are an advantage.
