Job Description
**Job Title** End User Computing (EUC) & Onsite Support Engineer **Role Summary** Provide hands‑on 1st/2nd line technical support for end‑user devices, Microsoft 365, and related infrastructure on client premises. Configure and maintain laptop/desktop builds, mobile devices, and peripheral hardware. Act as primary onsite point of contact, liaise with third‑party vendors, and ensure compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity controls. **Expectations** - Deliver prompt, high‑quality support to clinicians, administrators, and operational staff. - Manage device lifecycle from procurement to retirement, including imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting. - Maintain accurate ticketing, documentation, and asset records. - Escalate complex issues to appropriate support tiers or vendors. - Contribute to SOP development and continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Serve as onsite POC for technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system. - Diagnose and resolve Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and peripheral issues. - Provision, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and accessories. - Manage onboarding/off‑boarding, account creation, permissions, and licences. - Support remote & field users – troubleshoot VDI and VPN services. - Build, image, and test devices using Autopilot, MDT, Intune, or MDM platforms. - Provide break‑fix support for Windows/macOS devices; manage encryption (BitLocker, etc.). - Assist in installation and troubleshooting of enterprise applications. - Deploy hardware refreshes, new site enablements, and clinical expansions. - Coordinate with vendors for EUC, printer, infrastructure, and telecom solutions. - Maintain compliance with IT security, data protection, and asset lifecycle policies. - Participate in system upgrades, IT projects, and business change initiatives. - Contribute to SOPs, technical documentation, and best‑practice guides. **Required Skills** - Proven EUC, desktop support, or IT support technician experience. - Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and enterprise applications. - Experience with device builds, imaging, and MDM (Intune preferred). - Ability to diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity issues. - Basic networking skills (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, VPN). - Active Directory user and device management expertise. - Proficient with IT service management tools (ticketing, asset management). - Excellent communication, customer service, and vendor liaison skills. - Independent, self‑directed, and able to manage multiple priorities onsite. **Required Education & Certifications** - High‑school diploma or equivalent; further IT qualification preferred. - CompTIA A+ / Network+ / ITIL Foundation or equivalent recommended. - Experience working in regulated environments (healthcare, public sector) is a plus. - Exposure to SCCM/ConfigMgr deployments, Azure AD, Exchange Online, or cloud tools encouraged.
