**Job Title:** DevOps Coordinator
**Role Summary:**
Coordinate and streamline the end‑to‑end software delivery process, ensuring high‑quality, secure, and reliable releases. Manage Jira, GitHub Enterprise, and Azure DevOps environments, enforce CI/CD standards, and facilitate cross‑team communication and governance.
**Expectations:**
- Administer Jira projects, boards, workflows, and issue types for development, QA, and operations.
- Enforce ticket readiness, standardized developer templates, and peer‑review checkpoints.
- Maintain traceability from Jira issues to commits, pull requests, builds, and deployments.
- Ensure CI/CD pipeline integrity, environment documentation, and release governance.
- Provide clear communication of risks, blockers, and mitigation plans.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Configure and maintain Jira configurations, including workflows, issue types, and permissions.
- Manage GitHub repositories: permissions, branching/merging strategies, and protected branches.
- Monitor and support CI/CD pipelines (build, test, scan, deploy) with environment gates and approvals.
- Create and maintain release management documentation, release notes, and go/no‑go processes.
- Lead pre‑deployment checks, communication, post‑deployment verification, and rollback rehearsals.
- Participate in scrum ceremonies, manage dependencies across squads, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Publish dashboards and release health metrics; drive continuous improvement.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong experience with Jira administration, GitHub Enterprise, and Azure DevOps.
- Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and pull‑request workflows.
- Proficiency with Microsoft ecosystem (Office 365, Azure services).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder management across diverse teams.
- Understanding of infrastructure‑as‑code, serverless deployments, and security best practices (secrets management, RBAC, audit readiness).
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Sitecore release lifecycles (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred certifications: Atlassian Jira Administrator, GitHub Administration, ITIL Foundation.
