**Job Title:** Technical Documentation Specialist Intern
**Role Summary:**
Support the creation, organization, and maintenance of technical documentation for business processes, system workflows, and compliance standards. Translate technical concepts into clear documentation, ensure alignment with ISO and CMMI standards, and manage document version control.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver accurate, consistent, and user‑friendly documentation within deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, developers, and analysts.
- Identify documentation gaps and propose improvements.
- Maintain organized repositories and adhere to version‑control procedures.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Author and update user manuals, SOPs, system specifications, and process workflows.
- Document business process models, system architectures, and data flow diagrams.
- Review and edit existing documents for clarity and compliance.
- Ensure documentation meets ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and CMMI requirements.
- Manage document repositories, versioning, and access controls.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio) and Google Docs.
- Basic knowledge of business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Lucidchart, Visio).
- Understanding of content management systems or document version‑control concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and written communication abilities.
- Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
- Familiarity with ISO 9000/9001, ISO 27001, and CMMI standards is preferred (not mandatory).
