**Job Title:** Security Cloud Engineer
**Role Summary:**
A 6‑month contract role delivering cloud security engineering, focusing on Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), SIEM integration, and automation of security controls across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. The position requires hands‑on Unix/Windows administration, IaC scripting, and strong documentation skills, working in a hybrid office setting in London.
**Expectations:**
- 6‑month contract, hybrid (3 days on‑site, 2 days remote)
- Inside IR35, rate £550‑£600 per day
- Deliver security policies, configurations, and integrations on schedule
- Produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Implement and manage CSPM solutions (e.g., AppOmni, native Microsoft tools)
- Design, configure, and maintain security policies for Azure, O365, and ServiceNow
- Develop and maintain API integrations between CSPM platforms and other security tools
- Integrate cloud security events into SIEM platforms
- Containerize security tooling using Docker on Windows and Unix hosts
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM, CloudFormation, Terraform, and Git
- Conduct hands‑on security engineering tasks on Unix and Windows systems
- Document configurations, processes, and incident response procedures
**Required Skills:**
- CSPM/SSPM concepts, policies, and configuration experience
- API development and integration for security tooling
- ServiceNow and Office 365 security administration
- Docker (Windows & Unix) containerization
- Experience with AppOmni or comparable Microsoft security tools
- SIEM integration (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Azure Sentinel)
- Security engineering and incident response background
- Unix/Linux and Windows administration (hands‑on)
- IaC expertise: ARM templates, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Git version control
- Strong technical documentation abilities
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant security certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS/Azure Security Specialty)
