We’re searching for an experienced Operations Manager/Head of Operations with a strong FMCG Food Manufacturing background. This role offers a unique opportunity for the right individual to shape and develop operational growth within our client’s business. You will play a crucial part in driving their ambitious growth strategy, directly influencing the direction and success of the company as it continues to expand.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for not only leading the production, distribution and quality activities, but coaching and developing the managers to ensure growth and operational excellence. As this role is focused on the leadership and strategic direction of the business, you will be the driving force behind continuous improvement, performance optimisation, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing operational activities to ensure optimal safety and quality whilst maximising efficiency and performance.
Coaching, developing and leading a high-performing management team consisting of production, distribution and quality with accountability for business outputs.
Championing continuous improvement initiatives, implementing internal systems and principles.
Delivery of SQCDME KPIs and upholding EHS & Quality standards and compliance.
Collaborate with senior leaders to build and execute strategies plans that align with business goals and operational budgets.
Introducing KPIs to drive performance and engaging in regular reporting of data.

The Candidate
Our ideal candidate will be an engaging and authentic leader who has seen success within an FMCG manufacturing environment. You’ll be dedicated to developing your team, leading by example and passionate about sustainability and driving operational success.

Key Skills:
5+ years’ FMCG operations management experience is essential, food manufacturing experience would be highly desired.
Proven success in managing production processes and developing leadership teams.
Expertise in manufacturing operations, best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with change management principles and methodologies.
Ability to engage and inspire teams, taking a hands-on approach and leading by example.
Certification in food safety - HACCP, SQF, GMP, etc.
