Job Description: Job title: Senior Full Stack Developer (Back‑End Focus) Role Summary: Design, develop, and optimize AI‑driven services, owning key backend features and contributing to system architecture. Drive technical excellence in a fast‑paced startup environment. Expectations: Hybrid work model, 2–3 days onsite, containerized team. Must reside in Belgium and be able to commute. Freelancers welcome. Demonstrate ownership, planning, communication, and continuous improvement mindset. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs in TypeScript with Nest.js/Node.js. - Design and manage PostgreSQL schemas via Prisma. - Develop front‑end components with Vue.js or equivalent. - Implement security hardening and performance optimization. - Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Conduct code reviews and mentor peers. - Collaborate on architecture decisions and product backlog refinement. - Iterate on features, troubleshoot issues, and deliver on time. Required Skills - Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, Nest.js, Node.js, Vue.js (or similar). - Strong database expertise: PostgreSQL, ORM (Prisma). - RESTful API design and implementation. - CI/CD tooling, Docker/Kubernetes familiarity. - Web performance tuning and security best practices. - Excellent communication, autonomous execution, problem‑solving, and critical thinking.
