At Studaro we are bridging the skills-gap between emerging talent, education and the job market in a whole new way.

We are looking for an experienced, senior full stack developer (freelancers welcome!) to help build our AI technology. You will play an essential role in executing our long-term growth strategy by developing and optimizing our technological infrastructure and services. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of key features, contribute to the overall architecture, and collaborate well with our small but growing team.

Important:

This is a hybrid position in Ghent, Belgium.
We expect team members to work at our Ghent office 2 to 3 days per week.
Please only apply if you live in Belgium and can commute to Ghent.
Freelancers are welcome as well

Technical skills:

Proficiency in RESTful APIs, and database management (PostgreSQL, Prisma)
Experience with TypeScript, Nest.js, Node.js and Vue.js (or similar frameworks)
Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of web performance optimization and security best practices

Soft skills:

Ability to plan your work, and communicate this plan
Support your colleagues in code reviews and feedback sessions
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically, creatively and innovatively.
Autonomous with an ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion
Continuously looking for ways to improve and enable our technology and processes to implement new ideas and solutions
Velocity

Nice to have:

Experience in hosting
Experience in Google Cloud environment
Strong skills in Machine Learning or AI
Interest or skills in automation
Experience with mobile app development
Expertise in DevOps / Scrum / Agile
