**Job Title**
Infrastructure & Security Operations Lead
**Role Summary**
Lead and oversee a multi‑site IT estate encompassing network infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity. Serve as the operational hub, coordinating internal teams, third‑party vendors, and incident response to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance.
**Expectations**
- 5–10 years of IT operations or infrastructure experience, preferably in a multi‑site environment.
- Proven capability to manage vendor relationships, cost control, and compliance documentation.
- Demonstrated calmness under pressure and strong incident‑response leadership.
- Ability to switch between detailed technical work and strategic oversight.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of network, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Drive platform consistency, performance tuning, and security hardening across all sites.
- Own and resolve high‑priority incidents, leading the incident‑response lifecycle.
- Coordinate and evaluate third‑party vendors, ensuring SLA compliance and cost effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain architecture and security documentation, procedures, and runbooks.
- Implement and oversee monitoring solutions, dashboards, and alerts.
- Script and automate tasks using PowerShell and related tools.
- Administer DNS, VPN, Citrix, firewall configurations, and other critical services.
- Continually assess and improve operational processes, adopting best practices and emerging technologies.
**Required Skills**
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Entra ID, Intune, Azure AD, Office 365, and related admin portals.
- Strong networking fundamentals: DNS, VPN, routing, switching, and basic security principles.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell), monitoring tools, and firewall management.
- Incident‑response experience with escalation ownership and post‑mortem analysis.
- Vendor management, cost control, and compliance focus.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications are preferred:
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
* Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
* CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
* Any additional vendor‑specific certifications that demonstrate infrastructure expertise.
