Job Description
**Job Title:** Infrastructure Engineer **Role Summary:** Provide technical support and infrastructure services to business partners, handling queries via phone, email, and instant messaging. Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows‑based environments, Azure/Intune, virtual desktops, mobile devices, and proprietary applications. Contribute to projects such as asset management and hardware deployment based on performance. **Expectations:** - On‑site presence in the Des Moines, IA area (client site). - Full‑time availability during standard business hours. - Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all interactions. - Adapt to changing priorities and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels. **Key Responsibilities:** - Respond to technical support requests (calls, emails, IMs). - Install, configure, and support Windows PCs, laptops, iPads, and mobile devices. - Manage Azure/Intune services and virtual desktop infrastructure. - Assist with hardware asset tracking and deployment projects. - Document issues, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base entries. - Ensure compliance with security and confidentiality policies. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in IT customer service, support, or troubleshooting (internship or professional). - Strong problem‑solving, conceptual, and big‑picture thinking abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication; interpersonal skills to work with all staff levels. - Solid planning, organizational, time‑management, and decision‑making capabilities. - Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Azure/Intune, Microsoft Office, virtual desktops, and mobile device management. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (4‑year) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - No specific certifications mandated, but relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, MCSA) are advantageous.
