Job Description
**Contracts Manager** **Role Summary:** Strategic oversight of contract governance, procurement compliance, and tender board processes for large-scale infrastructure and energy projects, ensuring alignment with corporate governance frameworks and global best practices. **Expectations:** 15+ years of contract governance, procurement, or project contracting experience in infrastructure, energy, or industrial sectors. Proven expertise in project governance methodologies (VPM), legal/financial compliance, RFx processes (RFI/RFQ/RFP), contract negotiation, and stakeholder leadership at executive levels. Must obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee contracting processes for compliance with governance standards and procurement strategies. - Develop standardized contracting frameworks and contract management procedures. - Manage tender board reviews, ensuring alignment with project governance and risk thresholds. - Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, and project teams to maintain compliance and mitigate risks. - Negotiate engineering, procurement, and construction contracts for project execution. - Implement documentation systems for auditing, reporting, and compliance tracking. **Required Skills:** - Mastery of project governance (VPM), investment decision-making, and procurement risk assessments. - Strong RFx process expertise, supplier management, and contract negotiation abilities. - Leadership in stakeholder engagement with senior executives and cross-functional teams. - Analytical skills for contract compliance, regulatory adherence, and process improvement. - Proficiency in procurement/governance platforms (OSC, MyDocs, or equivalents). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). - Advanced knowledge of legal, financial, and compliance principles in procurement. - Familiarity with anti-bribery, data privacy, and ethical procurement regulations.
