Job Description
Job Title: Salesforce Developer (Contract) Role Summary: 6‑month contract with potential for permanent hire, tasked with designing, building, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions. Focus on custom development, integrations, platform architecture, and long‑term maintainability. Expectations: Deliver feature‑complete, production‑ready code that respects Salesforce governor limits; design clean, extensible data models and integrations; ensure compatibility across multiple orgs; collaborate with admins and product managers on declarative vs programmatic trade‑offs; participate in code reviews, release planning, and CI/CD pipelines; provide production support and resolve performance bottlenecks. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Custom Metadata. - Build and maintain managed/unmanaged packages. - Implement secure, scalable integrations via REST/SOAP, platform events, and asynchronous processes. - Create clean, referentially‑integrated data models. - Write testable, documented code following Salesforce best practices. - Collaborate with administrators on declarative vs code trade‑offs. - Engage in code reviews, release planning, and CI/CD activities. - Diagnose and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks. - Ensure compatibility across multiple Salesforce orgs and third‑party packages. Required Skills: - 3+ years hands‑on Salesforce development experience. - Proficient in Apex (triggers, asynchronous patterns) and SOQL/SOSL. - Experience building Lightning Web Components. - Strong knowledge of data modeling, security (profiles, permission sets, sharing). - Familiarity with Salesforce governor limits. - Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) and authentication mechanisms. - Familiarity with DevOps practices: Git, CI/CD, Salesforce DX. - Ability to write clean, testable, well‑documented code. Required Education & Certifications: - Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (preferred). - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
