**Job Title** DevOps System Engineer **Role Summary** Senior-level engineer responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Works with cross‑functional teams to translate product requirements into production‑ready code and infrastructure on AWS, leveraging containerization, IaC, and modern DevOps tooling. **Expactations** - 7–20+ years of systems engineering experience with large‑scale software deployments. - Proven ability to drive automation, standardize build/deployment processes, and support high‑volume production environments. - Strong collaboration within Agile teams and communication of technical solutions to stakeholders. - Maintain and operate a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and optimize AWS environments (S3, VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS). - Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform/CloudFormation. - Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for automated build, test, and deployment. - Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes. - Automate configuration and provisioning with Ansible and scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby). - Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot production systems for performance and reliability. - Collaborate with product and development teams to translate requirements into deployable solutions. **Required Skills** - AWS services (S3, VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS) - Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, registry management - Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation - CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions - Scripting/Programming: Python, Bash, Ruby - Configuration management: Ansible - Agile & DevOps best practices - Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or 5+ years equivalent systems engineering experience). - CWIP IAT Level 1 security training. - Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
