Job Description
Job title: Artificial Intelligence Intern (Engineer / Developer) Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy AI‑driven solutions for legal document analysis, advanced chatbots, and predictive conflict‑resolution tools. Work within an agile squad to build scalable AI infrastructure, APIs, and cloud‑based models that support thousands of users, influencing public‑sector AI strategy and enhancing dispute‑resolution services. Expactations: * Complete a minimum of two academic semesters; deliver tangible MVPs and prototypes. * Demonstrate independent learning of cutting‑edge AI technologies (LMMs, generative models). * Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and mentorship of junior contributors. * Present technical results to leadership and external partners. Key Responsibilities: * Build AI agents that extract insights from complex legal texts and provide instant advice. * Develop next‑generation conversational chatbots that exhibit human‑like interaction. * Train, evaluate, and fine‑tune machine‑learning models to predict and prevent disputes. * Design and implement scalable AI back‑ends on Azure, exposing RESTful APIs. * Collaborate with academia and industry on research projects and open‑source contributions. * Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, delivering incremental improvements. Required Skills: * Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow). * Strong data wrangling, visualization, and statistical analysis abilities. * Experience building and consuming REST APIs. * Familiarity with Azure AI services (Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services). * Git version‑control workflow mastery. * Keen interest in large language models, generative AI, or conversational AI frameworks. * Bonus: React/Angular front‑end experience, Kaggle/Kaggle medals, or published research. Required Education & Certifications: * Current enrollment in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, or related field (B.Sc./M.Sc.). * Minimum third‑year standing (or equivalent) with expected graduation within 12 months. * No mandatory certifications, though Azure or AWS AI/ML certifications are advantageous.
