Job title: Director of Events
Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution, and evaluation of high‑impact luxury client‑facing events across North America, driving brand equity, client engagement, and revenue. Serve as the primary event strategist, liaison, and decision‑maker for all event initiatives.
Expectations: • Deliver scalable event frameworks aligned with global brand strategy and commercial goals. • Manage full event lifecycle independently while coordinating cross‑functional and global stakeholders. • Maintain rigorous budget control, ROI measurement, and compliance with internal controls. • Travel frequently to support regional teams and client trips.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create event briefs, timelines, and budgets; oversee creative concept, production, and vendor sourcing.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with luxury vendors, agencies, and partners.
- Build project plans, coordinate stakeholders, and lead on‑site execution and post‑event closure.
- Collaborate with global marketing, creative, press, retail, merchandising, and client services to ensure brand consistency.
- Track KPIs, analyze performance, and optimize future programming.
- Draft all event communications (briefs, invitations, recaps) with consistent brand voice.
- Manage compliance with internal control frameworks and document controls.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years luxury event management experience, managing complex, high‑end activations.
- Proven budgeting, project management, and vendor negotiation expertise.
- Strong written communication, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Ability to lead projects end‑to‑end in fast‑paced, high‑touch environments.
- Comfortable working with both internal corporate teams and external luxury clients.
- International travel readiness (40‑50% travel required).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Certifications in project management (PMP, Prince2) or luxury brand management preferred.
