**Job Title:**
DevOps / Systems Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead the administration, deployment, and maintenance of Windows Server environments in AWS, supporting analytics, exploitation, and production systems while implementing secure DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
**Expectations:**
- Maintain an active Top Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI.
- Demonstrate proficiency in AWS, Windows Server, and DevSecOps workflows.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to deliver stable, secure systems on time.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, provision, and manage Windows Server instances in AWS (EC2, EBS, IAM, Security Groups).
- Deploy and maintain custom code, COTS, and GOTS applications across dev, test, and production environments.
- Execute system patching, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Argo) and DevSecOps processes.
- Automate infrastructure and configuration using IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Perform code reviews and collaborate with development teams on application design.
- Document system architecture, runbooks, and security controls.
- Provide occasional off‑hours support as mission demands require.
**Required Skills:**
- Active TS clearance (SCI attainable).
- DoD 8570‑compliant certification (e.g., Security+).
- AWS fundamentals (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
- Windows Server and Desktop OS administration.
- DevSecOps fundamentals, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- GitLab (repository management, CI/CD).
- Familiarity with RedHat OpenShift.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years experience; **OR** Master’s with 2+ years; **OR** 4 years experience in lieu of a degree.
- DoD 8570‑compliant Security+ (or equivalent).
