Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Analyst, Corporate & Performance Reporting **Role Summary** Provide accounting and performance analysis support for the corporation’s KPI framework, ESG reporting, and integrated reporting. Translate strategic objectives into measurable performance metrics, manage quarterly dashboards, develop operating and capital budgets, and produce reports for senior leadership, the Board, and external stakeholders. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, timely KPI and financial reports in line with best practices and legislative requirements. - Coordinate cross‑functional reporting, including ESG disclosures (GRI, ISSB) and climate‑risk assessments. - Act as subject‑matter expert on financial reporting, accounting standards, and sustainability metrics. - Support audit processes, statutory compliance, and special projects. **Key Responsibilities** - Maintain and update the KPI framework to align with strategic and annual plans. - Lead annual operating and capital budgeting and prepare quarterly variance reports. - Manage and present performance dashboards (capital investments, revenues, KPIs, budgets) to senior leadership and the Board. - Support ESG reporting (GRI, ISSB) and climate‑risk disclosures in collaboration with Sustainability. - Serve as financial reporting SME, providing research and memos on accounting issues. - Facilitate tri‑government reporting, internal/external audits, and implement audit recommendations. - Ensure compliance with statutory corporate reporting requirements. - Execute special projects as assigned. **Required Skills** - 3+ years’ experience in accounting, corporate performance reporting, KPI frameworks, and dashboard creation. - Advanced knowledge of Canadian GAAP and CPA Handbook. - Ability to translate business drivers into performance measures, including sustainability metrics. - Familiarity with ISSB climate-risk assessment and GRI ESG reporting (asset preferred). - Proficiency in business analytics tools (Power BI, other BI platforms) and large ERP systems. - Strong research, analytical, and communication skills. - Advanced IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, automation tools). - Self‑starter with problem‑solving, time‑management, and adaptability under changing requirements. **Required Education & Certifications** - Post‑secondary degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline. - Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, or equivalent) preferred. - Knowledge of international sustainability accounting standards and related controls is an asset.
