**Job Title:** Director of Finance (Director of Financial Planning & Analysis)
**Role Summary:**
Leads financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and reporting for a growing fintech services firm. Provides strategic financial insights, drives data‑based decision making, and ensures operational efficiency while managing a cross‑functional finance team.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver accurate, timely financial forecasts and reports to support senior leadership.
- Lead and develop the FP&A team, fostering collaboration across departments.
- Communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and non‑financial stakeholders.
- Uphold compliance, risk management, and best‑practice financial controls.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the annual budgeting process and periodic re‑forecasts.
- Build and maintain financial models for cash flow, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives.
- Produce monthly/quarterly financial statements, variance analyses, and executive dashboards.
- Partner with sales, operations, and product teams to evaluate performance and recommend actions.
- Manage a team of analysts, set objectives, and conduct performance reviews.
- Implement and optimize financial planning software and reporting tools.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards and internal control policies.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced financial planning, budgeting, and modeling expertise.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, ERP systems).
- Excellent leadership, team‑management, and mentorship capabilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication for executive audiences.
- High attention to detail and problem‑solving orientation.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
