Job Description

**Job Title**: Full Stack Developer **Role Summary**: Lead full-stack development of a sports technology platform, focusing on scalable web and backend systems, API integrations, and e-commerce optimization. Shape product architecture in a fast-growing startup environment. **Expectations**: Minimum 4 years of full-stack development experience; expertise in API integration and e-commerce/ticketing platforms. Candidate must be based on-site in Plymouth and provide references and code samples. **Key Responsibilities**: - Own and manage web and backend platform development and maintenance. - Integrate third-party APIs (Stripe, Shopify, Eventcube, etc.) for payments, e-commerce, and ticketing. - Translate business requirements into secure, scalable production-level code. - Optimize user flows, membership programs, and digital receipt experiences. - Lead technical strategy and product roadmap decisions. - Collaborate with marketing/commercial teams on client-facing interactions. - Potentially recruit/manage a development team as the company scales. **Required Skills**: - Proficiency in JavaScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, Express, and Python/PHP. - Strong API integration experience. - Database management (PostgreSQL, Firebase, MongoDB). - Debugging and communication skills. - Familiarity with e-commerce, ticketing, or payment platforms. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, cloud services) preferred but not mandatory.
