Job title: Director of Managed Services
Role Summary:
Senior executive responsible for strategy, execution, and global delivery of Managed and Cloud Services. Unifies Help Desk, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Cloud teams under a single high‑performance framework to drive operational excellence, client satisfaction, and scalable growth.
Expectations:
- Own end‑to‑end service delivery and service quality across continents.
- Transform distributed teams into a cohesive, high‑performance organization.
- Deliver measurable outcomes through data‑driven decision making and continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead global delivery of L1 Help Desk, L2/L3 Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and CSP/Resell services.
2. Manage a distributed roster of managers, engineers, and specialists across nearshore/offshore regions.
3. Oversee client onboarding, patching, upgrades, performance reporting, and SLA compliance.
4. Drive internal engagement: structured onboarding, 30/60/90‑day development plans, weekly touchpoints, and career path frameworks.
5. Optimize workflows, service models, and performance metrics.
6. Develop and manage CSP licensing, RFP responses, and pricing strategy.
7. Ensure regulatory and security compliance across all service lines.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years in IT service delivery, 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven Managed Service Provider management experience; familiarity with nearshore/offshore team structures (Europe/Latin America preferred).
- Deep expertise in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and managed service operations.
- Strong analytical ability, workflow optimization, and performance measurement.
- Experience with CSP licensing, RFP development, and pricing strategy is a plus.
- Excellent communication, cross‑functional leadership, and global mindset.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Management, or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Engineer, CISSP, ITIL v4 Foundation, or equivalent are desirable.
