Job Description
**Job Title:** Broadcast Network Engineer (Fixed‑Term) **Role Summary:** Design, configure, monitor, and support complex broadcast network infrastructures for live events worldwide. Work on‑site and remotely, integrating routing, switching, multicast, and virtualization technologies, while delivering documentation and real‑time monitoring solutions. **Expectations:** - Deliver network designs and configurations for major international events under tight deadlines. - Maintain accurate documentation and monitoring dashboards. - Collaborate with global engineering teams, suppliers, and on‑site staff. - Adapt quickly to changing requirements and travel as needed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement Layer‑3 networks with multicast (IGMP/PIM) and VXLAN. - Configure Cisco Nexus 9K, Catalyst, and Arista equipment in spine/leaf or hierarchical topologies. - Deploy and manage monitoring stack (Grafana, Prometheus, Telegraf, InfluxDB). - Integrate telemetry from routers, switches, firewalls, and APs (SNMP, NetFlow, etc.). - Build Grafana dashboards, set alerts, and troubleshoot performance issues. - Document network architecture, procedures, and monitoring setup in NetBox. - Use CI/CD tools (Ansible, Git, YANG, YAML) for automated provisioning. - Provide technical support during live events, both on‑site and remotely. **Required Skills:** - Strong networking fundamentals: IP addressing, routing (BGP, OSPF), switching, multicast, PTP. - Experience with Cisco Nexus/ Catalyst and Arista hardware. - Proficiency in open‑source monitoring tools and data visualization. - Linux familiarity and scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell). - Knowledge of virtualization (Proxmox, Docker, Kubernetes) and firewalls (PFsense). - CI/CD automation (Ansible, Git, YAML/YANG). - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation abilities. - Strong communication in English; ability to work with diverse stakeholders. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Degree or diploma in Networking, IT Infrastructure, or Systems & Networks (Bac+2/Bac+3 or equivalent). - Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS) are advantageous but not mandatory.
