**Job Title** Senior Network Engineer **Role Summary** Lead design, implementation, and support of enterprise data‑center, cloud, and security networking infrastructure. Acts as a subject‑matter expert, overseeing complex network projects, architectural design, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions across multiple data‑center and cloud environments. **Expactations** - 5+ years of senior‑level networking experience (Level 3/4) with a proven track record in large‑scale datacenter and cloud deployments. - Demonstrated expertise in TCP/IP, IP subnetting, routing, switching, and VLAN segmentation. - Extensive hands‑on experience with Cisco Nexus/Catalyst/ACI, BGP, EIGRP, SDN/ACI Leaf‑Spine, and Palo Alto Networks firewalls. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills using tools such as Wireshark, TCPDUMP, and Splunk. - Ability to design end‑to‑end security policies, VPNs, and DDoS protection (Imperva, Incapsula). - Effective communication and team collaboration in project‑team settings. **Key Responsibilities** - Architect and deploy IP‑core networks in datacenter and cloud settings. - Design and maintain Layer 3, Layer 2, VLAN, and access‑control policies. - Build, update, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, Global Protect VPNs, and Cloud WAF solutions. - Perform policy configuration, NAT, VPN setup, license renewal, OS upgrades, and hardware refreshes. - Lead end‑to‑end presentation of security solutions (NAC, WAF, DDoS) and provide ongoing support. - Generate network diagrams, IPAM plans, and architecture documentation. - Conduct detailed problem analysis and fault resolution with packet captures and log analysis. **Required Skills** - Cisco Nexus/Catalyst/ACI (including ACI fabric, leaf‑spine). - Routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF. - Layer 2 switching, VLANs, STP/RSTP. - Palo Alto firewall operations (PRA, Next‑Gen Security, WildFire, URL filtering). - Cloud security tools: WAF (Imperva), DDoS (Incapsula). - Network troubleshooting: tcpdump, Wireshark, Splunk. - End‑to‑end VPN design (site‑to‑site, Global Protect). - Network diagramming and IPAM. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - CCNP/CCIE (Routing/ Switching, Data Center, or Security) preferred. - Palo Alto Network Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or equivalent. - Additional certifications in cloud networking or security are advantageous.
