Job Description

**Senior Site Reliability Engineer** **Role Summary:** Lead SRE initiatives to ensure system performance, reliability, scalability through automation, monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration. **Expectations:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent; 5+ years IT experience in SRE, DevOps, or software development. Must have Java Spring Boot, REST API development, cloud-native app experience, and proficiency in Kubernetes/Docker, CI tools, and cloud platforms. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and implement SRE product suite (monitoring, self-healing, reliability testing). - Lead cross-functional teams in logging, monitoring, and incident response best practices. - Document infrastructure components and application functionalities. - Deploy applications, automation tools, and infrastructure. - Collaborate with developers to evaluate code changes for production readiness. - Automate and optimize SRE processes for operational efficiency. - Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution. - Troubleshoot production issues and provide on-demand operational support. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL query writing, and performance tuning. - Experience with relational/in-memory databases (MS-SQL, MySQL, SingleStore), Docker, Kubernetes (Azure/OpenShift), and Git. - Mastery of cloud-native application deployment (Azure/AWS/OpenShift). - Skilled in centralized logging (Splunk/ELK) and monitoring tools (Dynatrace). - Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and Linux/Windows environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
