About the Company

We believe in heritage, legacy, and the importance of names that carry the weight of history. Stanley Gibbons and Baldwin's have been cornerstones of the philatelic, numismatic and wider collectables community for a combined 300 years and will continue as such, long after our custodianship. Our auction house, Stanley Gibbons Baldwin's (SGB), bears these names to honour both Stanley Gibbons' history as 'the home of stamp collecting' and Baldwin's expertise in coins, medals and militaria. By uniting our diverse specialisms under Stanley Gibbons Baldwin's name, we draw on over 300 years of expertise in collectables. Our mission is to honour this proud history and service by igniting and nurturing the love of collecting for many new generations to come. As the premier auctioneer for all kinds of collectibles, we take our responsibility seriously. We strive to make the experience of buying, seeking, and selling treasured items one filled with trust, care, and joy at every stage of a collector's journey.
