Job Description

**Job Title:** Head of Finance **Role Summary:** Senior finance leader responsible for shaping and executing financial strategy, delivering accurate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and ensuring compliance across the organization. Provides high‑quality financial insight to senior leadership and drives performance through robust financial systems and controls. **Expactations:** - Demonstrate strategic financial leadership with a proven track record at senior level. - Deliver timely, accurate management and statutory accounts. - Maintain compliance with all relevant financial regulations. - Lead, develop, and motivate a multi‑site finance team. - Communicate complex financial data clearly to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and monthly/annual reporting. - Oversee preparation and submission of statutory accounts and regulatory reports. - Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, systems and internal controls. - Ensure financial compliance and manage relationships with auditors and external stakeholders. - Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insight for decision‑making. - Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and performance measurement. **Required Skills:** - Strong financial strategy, planning and reporting expertise. - Hands‑on experience managing budgets, forecasts and financial statements. - In‑depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements. - Leadership ability to build and develop high‑performing finance teams. - Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences. - High integrity, resilience and capability to work under pressure. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Qualified accountant (CCAB member or CIMA chartered). - Significant senior‑level finance leadership experience (typically 10+ years).
