Head of Finance

Brighouse | PS245 per day | 3-6 Month Contract

We are supporting our client in the appointment of a highly skilled Head of Finance to join their senior leadership team on a 3-6 month basis. This is a key interim position with the potential to apply for the permanent opportunity coming available based in Brighouse.

This vacancy is full time based on site at Brighouse.

The Role

The Head of Finance/FD will play a central role in driving financial strategy and providing high-quality insight to support organisational decision-making. The postholder will:

Lead on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Ensure the timely production of accurate management and statutory accounts.
Oversee financial compliance and regulatory reporting.
Develop and manage financial systems, policies, and controls.
Lead and motivate the finance team across multiple sites.
Partner with senior leaders, auditors, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.

The Candidate

We are seeking a qualified accountant (CCAB or CIMA) with substantial experience at senior leadership level. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

A strong track record in financial strategy, planning, and reporting.
Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial accounts in a hands-on capacity.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences.
Integrity, resilience, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Day Rate: PS245 per day
