Job Title: Chief Operating Officer
Role Summary
Lead and optimize all operational functions—engineering, product, customer success, corporate—to execute strategic objectives, scale performance, and deliver sustainable growth in a fast‑growing SaaS company. Coordinate with the Executive Chair, Board, and senior leadership to align operations with the company’s vision and execute M&A, budgeting, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement operational strategies across engineering, product, customer success, and corporate functions.
2. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial stewardship, managing cost structures to meet profitability goals.
3. Partner with the Chair and Board on strategic planning, investor relations, and corporate governance.
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and adoption of best practices.
5. Oversee risk management, compliance, and operational resilience frameworks.
6. Lead M&A activities: due diligence, integration planning, and post‑merger execution.
7. Foster a high‑performance culture with clear performance metrics, talent development, and inclusive leadership.
8. Communicate operational performance and strategic insights to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Required Skills
* Proven 5+ years in senior operational leadership (COO, VP Ops, etc.) within a PE‑backed or high‑growth SaaS environment.
* Demonstrated success in scaling operations and managing cross‑functional teams.
* Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision‑making abilities.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and digital tools to drive insights.
* M&A experience: due diligence, integration, and post‑merger performance.
* Commercial acumen, financial literacy, and data‑driven decision making.
* Capacity to thrive in fast‑paced, scaling environments and initiate organizational change.
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* Professional certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent operational excellence credentials are a plus.
