**Job Title:** Head of Technology (Canada)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the development, execution, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and guest‑centric technology solutions across Canada. Align regional technology initiatives with global strategy, manage technology budgets, oversee technology operations for all restaurants, and ensure data integrity, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
**Expectations:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of technology leadership in restaurant, retail, or hospitality sectors.
- Proven multi‑market technology oversight and vendor management.
- Deep expertise in digital and restaurant technology platforms (POS, KDS, CRM, loyalty, data analytics).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, GDPR, and regional data‑privacy standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams, manage complex vendor ecosystems, and drive ROI.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategic Leadership** – Define and execute Canada technology roadmap; align with global business strategy; oversee budgets and innovative digital initiatives.
2. **Technology Operations** – Manage POS, KDS, inventory, supply chain, reporting, CRM, loyalty, digital ordering, delivery integrations, and marketing tech; ensure seamless implementation for new openings and market entries; maintain data integrity and compliance.
3. **Team & Culture** – Lead and mentor a distributed technology team and vendor partners; foster innovation, collaboration, and accountability; serve as regional tech representative to global leadership.
4. **Vendor Management** – Evaluate, negotiate, and maintain contracts with third‑party solutions; ensure system uptime, SLAs, and rapid issue resolution; partner with franchisees to deliver training and consistent adoption.
**Required Skills:**
