**Job Title:** IT Applications Support Student
**Role Summary:** Support end‑users of the Oracle Apex application environment by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues, maintaining performance, and coordinating with IT teams and vendors.
**Expectations:** Deliver timely, accurate assistance across primary office and remote sites, document all incidents and changes, uphold service level agreements, and actively contribute to tool standardization and performance improvements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Respond to Oracle Apex incidents via calls, tickets, email, or chat.
- Analyse, diagnose, and resolve complex application issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle Apex and related components.
- Record and manage patches, updates, and configuration changes.
- Prepare performance tests, reports, and statistics.
- Maintain an inventory of application tools and documentation.
- Liaise with network administrators, other IT teams, and third‑party vendors.
- Conduct research on support tools, write technical specifications, and recommend upgrades.
- Provide on‑call support as required.
**Required Skills:**
- Hands‑on application troubleshooting experience.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to read technical manuals, procedural documentation, and user guides.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with application support tools and techniques.
- Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to prioritize tasks under pressure.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Enrolled in or completing a college diploma, university degree, or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
