Job Title: Junior Full Stack Developer – InsurTech
Role Summary: Contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of modern web applications, serving both front‑end and back‑end components within an insurtech product portfolio. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Expactations: Apply coding best practices, maintain clean and readable code, participate in code reviews, adhere to security and performance standards, produce detailed documentation, and continuously learn emerging technologies. Deliver timely, high‑quality features in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON. • Implement MVC architecture and RESTful APIs with OWASP‑compliant security practices. • Debug, test, and optimise code for reliability and performance. • Collaborate with designers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional solutions. • Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance activities. • Research and recommend new tools and frameworks to improve product capability. • Create and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation and user guides.
Required Skills: • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC pattern, and object‑oriented design. • Strong front‑end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), JSON, and Bootstrap. • Experience with modern client frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. • Understanding of web hosting environments (IIS) and deployment pipelines. • Knowledge of web security fundamentals and OWASP guidelines. • Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and performance profiling tools. • Solid debugging, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices.
Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in full‑stack web development. No mandatory industry certifications required.
