**Job title:** Full Stack Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Contract hybrid position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining end‑to‑end web and robot application solutions. Responsibilities span front‑end React development, back‑end Node JS/FastAPI services, real‑time messaging, API and SDK creation, and cloud deployment/scale. The role requires rapid prototyping, problem‑solving, and collaboration with external developers.

* Exceptionally fast learning, self‑directed execution, and analytical problem‑solving.
* Resourceful ownership of tasks and delivery under tight timelines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Architect, prototype, and implement React‑based front‑end features.
* Build and maintain Node JS / FastAPI back‑end services, including real‑time messaging with WebSockets/SSE.
* Configure and manage proxying (Nginx, Let’s Encrypt) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Dokku).
* Deploy and scale applications on AWS, DigitalOcean, Vercel, Render, and similar cloud platforms.
* Develop and expose user and developer APIs, and design a developer SDK.
* Write, publish SDK documentation, sample projects, and open‑source contributions.
* Support third‑party developers and provide tooling for robot applications.
* Clean up and refactor code, ensuring maintainability and performance.
**Required Skills:**
* Front‑end: React (plus related libraries).
* Back‑end: Node JS, FastAPI, WebSockets, SSE.
* DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Dokku, Nginx, Let’s Encrypt.
* Cloud: AWS, DigitalOcean, Vercel, Render (deployment, scaling, performance).
* API design, SDK development, documentation.
* Real‑time messaging, agentic coding, code cleanup.
* Agile development methodologies (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience in Computer Science or related engineering, OR Master’s degree + 3 years.
* Experience with robotics, robotics firmware, or ROS 2 is a plus.
* Tier 1 university background (Stanford, MIT, Tsinghua, etc.) highly desirable.
