Job Description
**Job Title:** Security Operations Manager **Role Summary:** Oversee daily operational and administrative functions for multiple security contracts, ensuring compliance, performance metrics, and continuous improvement. Report to the VP of Operations, providing status updates, identifying deficiencies, and supporting strategic decision-making. **Expectations:** - Maintain high standards of conduct, appearance, performance, and training. - Operate effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment requiring strong multitasking and stress tolerance. - Deliver accurate, actionable reporting and dashboards for executive review. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage operational activities across diverse security contracts. - Communicate contract status, compliance issues, and deficiencies to VP of Operations. - Support operational decision‑making and strategic initiative implementation. - Develop and execute project plans to enhance operational capabilities and responsiveness. - Compile and present SLAs, KPIs, and performance dashboards for executive consumption. - Ensure team training, performance, and conduct meet organizational standards. - Utilize technology to schedule, track, and report operational activities. **Required Skills:** - Operations and project management expertise. - Ability to create reports, spreadsheets, charts, and visual dashboards (MS Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint). - Knowledge of security operations and contract management. - Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and time‑management skills. - Supervisory experience in a general office setting. - Proficiency with MS Office Suite; familiarity with technology‑driven scheduling platforms. - Customer‑service orientation; effective communication across all organizational levels. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in operations or project management, OR an honorable military discharge plus equivalent experience. - Relevant certifications in operations, project management, or security management preferred.
