**Job Title:** Marketing Channel Specialist
**Role Summary:**
Drive wholesale channel growth across North America by developing and executing targeted marketing strategies with distributor partners. Build win‑win value propositions, joint business plans, and channel‑specific campaigns to increase sales velocity, market share, and ROI within the fire and security solutions market. Own budgeting, P&L, data syndication, and performance metrics to deliver measurable results and maintain distributor alignment with corporate sales goals.
**Expectations:**
* Achieve revenue and market‑share targets set in the annual channel plan.
* Deliver positive ROMI and maintain profitability of channel marketing spend.
* Foster strong, collaborative relationships with major distributors and contractors.
* Demonstrate data‑driven decision making and clear reporting to stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Create annual channel marketing plans with revenue targets, ROMI, and share goals.
2. Craft differentiated value propositions for wholesale versus direct channels.
3. Build joint business plans with distributors, including commitments and metrics.
4. Conduct quarterly business reviews, refine strategies, and allocate budgets.
5. Design and launch channel‑specific campaigns to boost sell‑through velocity.
6. Optimize product visibility on distributor e‑commerce, catalogs, and mobile apps.
7. Develop contractor/installer content, tools, and resources.
8. Administer rebate programs, SPIFFs, promo calendars, and branch‑level initiatives.
9. Coordinate channel participation in company sales programs and events.
10. Manage MDF, co‑op, and promotional budgets; oversee channel marketing P&L.
11. Ensure accurate product data syndication across partner platforms.
12. Collaborate on inventory planning to support promotions and launches.
13. Track vendor scorecards, distributor performance, and resolve channel conflicts.
14. Provide regional sales teams with channel tools, battlecards, and presentations.
15. Support key account managers in partner meetings, negotiations, and joint selling.
16. Deliver market intelligence on competitive positioning and channel dynamics.
17. Execute distributor roadshows, branch events, and partner‑hosted trade shows.
18. Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal procedures.
**Required Skills:**
* 1–3+ years channel, distribution, or B2B marketing (fire, security, industrial).
* Proven success designing and executing wholesale partner strategies.
* Deep understanding of channel dynamics, sell‑through tactics, and distributor ecosystems.
* Experience managing MDF, co‑op funds, promo budgets, and marketing P&L.
* Strong relationship‑building, communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
* Analytical mindset with ROI measurement and data‑driven insight.
* Project management skills to juggle multiple campaigns and stakeholder agendas.
* Proficiency with CRM/marketing tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot/Marketo).
* Willingness to travel (~20%) across North America for distributor engagement.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
