Job Description
Job Title: Account Manager Role Summary: Responsible for developing and expanding long-term relationships with Pathomation clients in the Life Sciences and Pharma segments. Manages and grows accounts, identifies new commercial opportunities, aligns sales activities with company objectives, and serves as the primary commercial contact for customers. Expectations: Deliver sustained revenue growth through proactive account management; maintain high-quality, long-term client relationships; collaborate closely with internal teams (Business Development, Project Management, Marketing, Product Development) to align strategy and meet customer needs; maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM data. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective customer organizations in Life Sciences and Pharma. • Align organizational performance with customer expectations and ensure customer needs are fulfilled. • Organise and conduct product demonstrations for Pathomation solutions. • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers. • Develop deep understanding of customer organisations, decision‑makers, and use cases. • Provide input for sales administration, proposal preparation, and accurate forecasting. • Attend industry conferences and events to gather market and customer insights. • Support marketing activities by collecting feedback and informing product innovation. • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on sales targets and strategy. • Work with the Project Manager to ensure smooth handover of commercial projects. Required Skills: • Proven account management experience in a customer‑facing role. • Knowledge of Life Sciences and Pharma markets and digital pathology use cases. • Proficiency in CRM and customer‑relations management software. • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. • Ability to analyze market and customer data to drive insights. Required Education & Certifications: • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field (scientific or business). • Experience in account management within Life Sciences or Pharma is required.
