Job Description
Job Title: Financial Analyst Role Summary: Provide analytical support to FP&A by building and maintaining financial models, driving budgeting and forecasting, and delivering insights to business partners. Expectations: Deliver timely, accurate financial analyses, maintain high data integrity, proactively identify performance drivers, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Update financial models for long‑term planning, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting. • Analyze actual performance versus budget/forecast, isolating key drivers and variances. • Partner with department leaders to monitor budgets and supply monthly forecasts to FP&A leadership. • Prepare board and investor materials, including models, supporting analysis, and narrative summaries. • Own and execute ad‑hoc projects related to new initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements. • Act as finance business partner, providing guidance and financial insights to support departmental decision‑making. Required Skills: • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas). • Proficiency building and interpreting complex financial models. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present financial information clearly. • Self‑starter capable of independent ownership in fast‑paced environments. • Familiarity with NetSuite and FP&A tools advantageous. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
