Job Description
**Job Title** Marketing & Development Officer – Major Events & Luxury (Apprentice) **Role Summary** Support the Convention Bureau’s Marketing and Luxury Committee in promoting Paris as a destination for major events and luxury tourism. Work with French and international partners to identify new business opportunities, organize promotional activities, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. **Expectations** - Deliver proactive prospecting and relationship management in defined target markets. - Coordinate and support international partnership and promotion events. - Maintain and update CRM records and communication materials. - Assist luxury travel agencies, event organizers, and other partners with first‑level inquiries. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, communications, and other tourism sectors (e‑sports, tech, business travel). **Key Responsibilities** 1. Prospect and qualify prospects using CRM tools, setting up one‑to‑one meetings (phone, Zoom or in‑person). 2. Expand and qualify the Convention Bureau’s prospect database. 3. Organise partnership and global promotion initiatives (VIP receptions, webinars, etc.). 4. Record and report promotion outcomes in the CRM system. 5. Respond to client requests from luxury agencies and large event organisers, providing initial qualification. 6. Prepare marketing communication materials (primarily PowerPoint) in line with action plans and in coordination with the communications department. 7. Liaise with Parisian tourism professionals and international stakeholders in business tourism, e‑sports, luxury, and tech ecosystems. **Required Skills** - Strong written and verbal communication, fluent in English (written and spoken). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is an advantage. - Rigorous, organised and autonomous working style. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage complex, long‑term projects. - Good general knowledge of Paris as a tourist destination and of the luxury / events tourism sectors (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (BAC + 4/5) in Marketing, Communication, Economics, Political Science, or Commerce. - Apprenticeship contract; willingness to complete a 24‑month learning period.
