**Job title:** Policy Team Internship **Role Summary:** Intern responsible for supporting advocacy and research on EU policy areas critical to technology industries, including trade, green, digital, and regulatory burden reduction. **Expectations:** - Proactive, detail‑oriented thinker - Strong written and verbal communication in English (additional European languages a plus) - Ability to work collaboratively in a flexible, multidisciplinary environment - Self‑motivated with excellent organisational and multitasking skills **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct background research and policy mapping on trade, green, digital, and regulatory burden topics. - Monitor EU legislative and regulatory developments and track changes. - Prepare briefing notes, summaries, and internal memos for advocacy teams. - Draft outreach materials and correspondence for EU officials and stakeholders. - Support event planning and execution: webinars, bilateral meetings, and stakeholder briefings. - Maintain and update stakeholder contact lists and engagement trackers. - Contribute to research and documentation for advanced manufacturing and trade agreements (e.g., Mercosur). - Compile evidence, case studies, and policy briefs to inform advocacy positions. - Produce content for newsletters, social media, and website updates aligned with policy priorities. - Ensure consistent messaging across all communications and platforms. **Required Skills:** - Research and analytical capability with a focus on EU policy. - Proficient in document drafting, briefing preparation, and stakeholder communication. - Familiarity with EU institutions and policy processes. - Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and collaborative tools. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current university student or recent graduate in European studies, political science, economics, law, engineering, or a related field. - Completion of relevant coursework or projects demonstrating knowledge of EU policy or international trade. ---
