Orgalim – Europe’s Technology Industries – is looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our Policy Team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in one of Europe’s leading industry associations, working on policy areas at the heart of the EU agenda: decreasing regulatory burden, promoting industrial competitiveness, internal market, trade, green and digital policies.

Our international team works with policymakers and stakeholders to strengthen our industries’ growth and global leadership, maximising their contribution to Europe’s economy and society.
Your role:
As a Policy Team intern, you will support our advocacy and research activities, helping to advance key policy files and strategic initiatives. You will:
Conduct background research and policy mapping on trade, green, digital, and regulatory burden topics.
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments within EU institutions.
Prepare briefing notes, summaries, and internal memos to support advocacy efforts.
Assist in preparing outreach materials and correspondence for meetings with EU officials and stakeholders.
Support the organisation of events, webinars, and bilateral meetings with EU policy makers.
Help maintain and update stakeholder contact lists and engagement trackers, especially for regulatory burden and competitiveness initiatives.
Contribute to project work, including research and documentation for advanced manufacturing and trade agreements (e.g., Mercosur).
Compile evidence and case studies to inform advocacy positions.
Draft content for newsletters, social media, and website updates related to advocacy activities.
Ensure consistent messaging and visibility of key policy files across platforms.
Your profile:
University degree (completed or in progress) in a relevant field (e.g., European studies, political science, economics, law, engineering, or similar).
Familiarity with European politics and/or policies; understanding of EU institutions and processes is a plus.
Motivated, eager to learn, with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; knowledge of other European languages is an asset.
Effective team player, able to work in a flexible and multidisciplinary environment.
Organised and able to multitask.
