Job Description

Job Title: Founding Software Engineer Role Summary: Drive the end‑to‑end development of an AI‑powered clinic platform, owning the design, architecture, and delivery of full‑stack services that unify patient history, documentation, and billing. Expectations: - Gritty, self‑driven execution with a bias to action. - Rapid learning curve and ownership of the entire product lifecycle. - Deep curiosity and problem‑first mindset, with a product‑oriented approach. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services in TypeScript/Node on GCP. - Build and maintain front‑end components in Svelte and native iOS (Swift). - Design and implement APIs (REST/GraphQL) and data pipelines for clinical workflows. - Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and continuous delivery practices. - Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and founders to translate user needs into technical solutions. - Conduct code reviews, refactor legacy code, and ensure high code quality and maintainability. - Monitor production health, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and optimize system scalability. Required Skills: - Full‑stack development with TypeScript, Node.js, Svelte, and native iOS (Swift/React Native). - Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Compute, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub). - Strong understanding of REST/GraphQL API design, authentication, and data modeling. - Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent container orchestration. - Proficiency in automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) and CI/CD tooling. - Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of production‑grade SaaS or software development experience. - Prior experience in healthcare, regulatory or compliance contexts is a plus.
