Job Description
Job title: Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager Role Summary: Senior Maternity‑cover role focused on securing high‑value funding from wealth management, trusts, and foundations, developing partnership strategies, and maintaining donor relationships to advance organizational impact. Expectations: - Deliver donor engagement and partnership initiatives that secure six‑figure or greater gifts. - Produce persuasive proposals, presentations, and communications for stakeholders. - Maintain rigorous reporting, data analysis, and evidence of impact. - Operate independently in a remote environment while contributing to a cross‑functional team. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute fundraising strategy targeting wealth management, trusts, and foundations. - Identify, cultivate, and secure new donor and partnership opportunities. - Draft and submit compelling proposals and sponsorship requests. - Manage donor database, track giving, and produce timely stewardship and impact reports. - Build and sustain relationships with donors, trustees, and partner organisations. - Coordinate with internal teams to align fundraising activities with program priorities. - Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in philanthropy. - Prepare and deliver presentations to donors, board members, and senior leadership. Required Skills: - Strong grant writing, proposal development, and persuasive communication skills. - Proven track record of securing gifts in excess of six figures. - Relationship‑building and networking capabilities across diverse stakeholder groups. - Strategic planning, project management, and organisational proficiency. - Data analysis, reporting, and proficiency in donor management software. - Self‑motivated, remote‑work adaptive, and collaborative team player. - Passion for international development and social impact philanthropy. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Non‑Profit Management, Communications, Development, or related field. - Additional certifications in fundraising or philanthropy (e.g., Certified Fund Raising Executive) preferred.
