Job Description
**Job Title** Field Service Engineer – 4‑Stroke Engines **Role Summary** Perform maintenance, repair, commissioning, and performance testing of 4‑stroke marine engines. Lead service teams, conduct root‑cause analysis, and provide operational support across projects. Job Description
Job Title: Data Modeler Role Summary: Supports SMA team by developing data models to assess Belgium's electricity system performance with growing renewable energy integration through simulation studies and analysis. Expectations: Proactive, results-driven individual with 3+ years in data modeling or analysis (energy sector preferred). Proficient in Python/R and Excel; experience with economic dispatch tools like ANTARES is advantageous. Bilingual fluency in English and Dutch/French required. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze economic-dispatch outputs (e.g., ANTARES) to evaluate RES curtailment, residual load, and system behavior. - Perform techno-economic ramping analyses for net load fluctuations. - Support short-term flexibility modeling for demand shocks, outages, and RES variability. - Develop datasets, maintain tools in Python/R/Excel, and visualize key performance indicators per EMDR/FNA frameworks. - Collaborate on data validation, FNA documentation, and alignment with adequacy studies/Summer Outlooks.
