Job Description
**Job Title:** Sr. Automation Engineer **Role Summary:** Senior Automation Engineer responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing PLC/SCADA systems on sterile filling lines within GMP-regulated environments. Works 2nd shift and ensures GDP/GMP compliance across all automation activities. **Expactations:** - Operate and maintain automation equipment on 2nd shift sterile filling processes. - Deliver compliant, efficient, and reliable automation solutions with minimal downtime. **Key Responsibilities:** - Program, troubleshoot, and update PLC/SCADA systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, TIA Portal, Ignition, WinCC‑OA). - Monitor line performance and implement process improvements. - Document all reprogramming and changes to meet GDP/GMP requirements. - Collaborate with Operations, QA, and Engineering teams for root‑cause analysis and issue resolution. **Required Skills:** - Hands‑on expertise in PLC/SCADA programming and maintenance. - Proficiency with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Ignition, and WinCC‑OA platforms. - Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, and FDA regulatory compliance. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, or Control Systems Engineering (or equivalent practical experience). - Valid certifications in PLC programming or relevant automation platforms are an advantage.
