Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with strong DeltaV expertise to support commissioning, qualification, and validation (C&Q) activities in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role requires hands-on experience with DeltaV configuration, troubleshooting, and compliance with regulated industry standards such as GMP and GAMP 5. This engineer will work on-site and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure automated systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and implement DeltaV-based automation systems.
Support Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) activities for automated equipment.
Ensure full compliance with GMP, GAMP 5, and pharmaceutical validation standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, control systems, and DeltaV performance.
Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, validation documentation, and protocols.
Participate in root cause investigations and implement effective corrective actions.
Provide on-site technical support and training to operators, technicians, and maintenance teams.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, validation, and operations teams to ensure system readiness and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV system configuration and implementation.
Strong understanding of C&Q processes, including commissioning, qualification, and validation.
Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, control systems, and automation troubleshooting.
Solid knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and GAMP 5 regulatory frameworks.
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve automation system issues efficiently.
Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
