Job Description
Job title: Web Application Developer Role Summary: Develop and maintain enterprise‑grade web solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint, integrating with existing systems, automating workflows, and delivering data‑driven insights. Work cross‑functionally to translate business requirements into functional design, test, deploy, and provide ongoing support for web‑based services. Expactations: • Deliver scalable, secure, and compliant Power‑Platform applications that meet regulatory and user‑experience standards. • Manage multiple concurrent projects, meeting schedules and budget constraints. • Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. • Produce clear technical documentation and user training materials. • Continuously improve processes through iterative feedback and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: • Design, code, test, and deploy Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power BI reports, and SharePoint integrations. • Gather and analyse user and business requirements, translate them into technical solutions. • Coordinate with service teams, suppliers, and web officers to align solutions with business needs. • Implement workflow models (schedule‑driven, persona‑driven) and maintain system security, patching, and user management. • Support user onboarding, feedback loops, and iterative enhancements. • Produce technical documentation, training materials, and maintain compliance with data‑protection and security policies. Required Skills: • Proven expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint). • Experience with .NET, MVC, OOP languages, CMS, or the Microsoft stack. • Understanding of QA, UX, and CX principles. • Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities. • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. Required Education & Certifications: • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) Grade C or above. • Relevant IT qualification with web‑based modules (e.g., Microsoft Technology Associate, ITIL foundation).
